SITUATION
DLBA came to us wanting to update their look and feel to stay at the forefront of the commercial renaissance sweeping downtown Long Beach.
STRATEGY
We know going in that there would be a two-prong approach to best serve DLBA: on one hand, they need a type of civic gravitas; on the other hand, they need to be attractive, cool, and hip— characteristic not often associated with civic organizations— if they are going to attract desirable businesses.
SOLUTION
The logo redo and various advertisements were placed to maximize message diffusion over an incredibly wide area. The Annual Report and Economic Profile both contain loads of information and statistics; our challenge was to not only make the data attractive, but also to make it persuasive and enticing to potential business owners.
